What if… We were all transported to an island. Just our class. The island has no government, completely abandoned. Everyone is free, there is no one person “in-charge” of another when we arrive. We have no way to contact anyone in any other part of the world… What would life be like with no rules or gov’t? Would we have rights or duties? Who enforces rights? Duties? What might happen to the stronger and smarter people on the island? What might happen to the weaker and lessintelligent people on the island? Would we be willing to trade some freedom for a society with order and gov’t?
