Working Memory (WM) On a computer, the capacity to process information can be constrained by the cache. The greater the capacity to cache the memory used for processing, the faster the processing. Working memory is the capacity of a person to process information. 22

Tying WM and EQ together To summarize, • Emotional Intelligence is the ability to think through situations and manage the emotional reaction that fits our objective. • Working Memory is key to how we process sensory inputs and integrate that with our memory to make decisions. 39
