To what problems did these disagreements lead? • Short skit, cartoon, chart, drawing, video, etc. – Why/how is the war dividing the US? – How did different groups or sections of the country view the war & its outcomes?

• Work with your group to create a short presentation that addresses the question, “How and why did the outcomes of the war with Mexico 1846– 48 add to sectional difficulties? ” On what issues did the North & South disagree, and why did they disagree?
