PRIMARY CROSS-COUNTRY RUNNING Grades 1, 2 and 3 RUNNERS. . . Today is the day!! Our FUN RUN is here! All classes from Kindergarten to grade 3 are welcome to come outside and cheer on the Worsley runners. Runners are invited to the gym for a quick warm-up at 11: 30 dressed and ready to run, then we will announce when classes should come outside. Teachers if you could pair-up with your teaching partners that would be great! All runners PLEASE STAY WITH THE TEAM AND COACHES while you are outside. All students not running PLEASE STAY WITH YOUR TEACHER! You will be called by Mr. Steeves when it is time to run. Runners make sure you wear all of your layers outside to keep warm before and after the run. THE STARTING LINE IS ON THE NORTH YARD, THE FINISH LINE IS ON THE SOUTH YARD. The coaches are very proud of all of your determination and enthusiasm during the practices. Can’t wait to cheer you on!!!
And speaking of Cross-Country. . . All students on the North and South Yards, please be aware that Mr Steeves has set up a cross-country track for the Primary Runners on both yards. Please do not touch or remove any part of this track while on recess today, as it is essential for the grade 1, 2 and 3 students to run their races. Merci!!
Second Recess Wellness Break Grades 5 to 8 students are welcome to the library for 2 nd recess to have some QUIET down time. The Wellness Break will allow you to settle into a quiet corner in the library to read a book, do some drawing or some quiet, independent activity. No talking, chatting, doing homework, or technology allowed.
