The Team 14 Seniors + 1 Boatman 19 Juniors 22 Sophomores + 1 Boatman 57 Total, 46 oarsmen, 9 cox, 2 boatmen. 54 will travel to TN in March, Soph Boatman and 2 oarsmen will stay back with Frosh.

Exam Season – Travel Plan Stotesbury: -Thurs 5/17 Bus leaves G in a. m. minus Stats testers. Rig & row in Philly with fill in line ups. Testers come to Philly by car -Fri 5/18 – Van takes Micro. E testers to St Joes 0700. Picks up at ? 1015? Light 8 TT at 1230. -Sat 5/19 – Normal. SRAA: -Thurs 5/24 Bus leaves G in a. m. Minus Jopeck. -Fri 5/25 – normal, Jopeck arrives night before. -Sat 5/26 – normal.
Summer Rowing - Levels Competitive: -JR National Team Development/Tryout- Invite only -Elite Local JR Development (PBC) – Application only -Local Club – TBC or Capital (at our boathouse, run by us) -6 to 9 weeks. Non-competitive New Skill (Sculling): -Craftsbury Sculling School - Vermont -Calm Waters - Virginia -Typically a week long Non-competitive – Experiential (Sweep) -College based camps -Independent camps -Typically a week long
Summer Rowing - Capital Competitive: -Will teach sculling and sweep -One major regatta – Club Nationals, Cherry Hill, NJ -6 weeks, starts May 29 ends July 15. -Will use Gonzaga Equipment, plus Andy and Tom! -Purposed for development of 2020 and 2021 athletes -Will also support 2019 s and college-age athletes -Lots of racing experience at one regatta, scull and sweep. Rationale: -Jump-start for rising Sophs and Juniors. -Will advance skill AND fitness. -Opportunity for rising Seniors to improve erg time going into peak recruiting season. -Athletes will have over a month off from rowing post 7/15.
