Plastics �Did you know that plastics can be grown? �dextrose from potatoes, corn and sugar cane can create polylactic acid (PLA) that can be composted and break down w/in 2 weeks in industrial style composting. (usually #7) �Choose safer plastics: #1, 2, 4, 5 �#1, 4 and 5 often hard to recycle. Check locally! Did you know some fleece jackets are made using recycled plastic soda pop bottles? !
