Attendance It is essential that all students are in school and on time every day If your child is having any difficulty at school, please do not keep them off school. It stops our ability to resolve the problem, can increase anxiety and cause further issues.

Attendance Your attendance must stay in the green zone. Our acceptable attendance rate is

Attendance Your attendance must stay in the green zone. Our acceptable attendance rate is 96% and over. Mrs Maton, our attendance officer and Mrs Robson, will stringently monitor your child’s attendance. If your child has an unauthorised absence, you will receive a home visit from Mrs Maton. As a school, we do issue Fixed Penalty Notices for persistent and unauthorised absences. We do not authorise holidays during term time. All medical appointments must be confirmed with evidence, letters, appointment cards etc.

Lessons start at 8. 35 am, if they are late they will be issued a C 3 detention There is a 5 minute changeover between lessons, students must get to their next lesson on time School finishes at 3. 05 pm Detentions finish at 3. 50 pm for C 3’s and 4. 35 pm for C 3+

Awarded by Head of Department or your Director of Learning R 5 s awarded by the Principal for consistently outstanding effort or contribution to the community The rewards support students to be the best that they can be!

Behaviour Headphones are not allowed in school under any circumstances Mobile phones must not

Behaviour Headphones are not allowed in school under any circumstances Mobile phones must not be seen or heard in school. They will be confiscated if they are seen or heard. Phones will not be returned to students. Parents/carers will have to collect them during school hours. Aerosols are not allowed in any form. If your child needs deodorant in school, a roll on is allowed.
