Answers to Puzzling Questions 1. Rukundo: Can God change thoughts of other people? Answer: The Bible says that our God is Almighty, All. Knowing and All-Powerful, that means He can do anything and everything. But the Bible also tells us that He gives us free will, meaning, He allows us to make our own choices. With this free will, He lets us choose, what we think and what we do.

Answers to Puzzling Questions 2. Hank: If God is Almighty and All-Powerful, why didn't He destroy the devil at first and destroy all evil works and sin? Answer: God is indeed All-Powerful, that is so true. But when Saturn misbehaved in heaven, God punished him and sent him out of heaven, which is a big punishment. He then came to earth and started causing all the problems and all the evil on the earth. But one day in the future, God is going to give Saturn the final punishment and all evil will come to an end. God is mighty, He is just giving us time and He will finally defeat Saturn totally.

Answers to Puzzling Questions 3. Angel, Kingston, Joshua, Martin, Malachi, George and Rashim, Jamira: Who made God? How did He come to existence. . . if you say He is a spirit, then where did this spirit come from? Who are God’s parents? Who created God? Who created Jesus? Where did God come from? How did God create the Holy Spirit? Answer: In the Bible, the very first book of the Bible- Genesis; it tells us about how things begun. Genesis 1: 1 says, "In the beginning God created everything; heaven and earth. " Now that simply means, God was never created, God has no Daddy or Mummy, He is the creator; everything came from God. The Bible continues to say that God is Spirit, we can't see Him, we can't touch Him. And that allows God to be everywhere by being Spirit; just like the wind.

Answers to Puzzling Questions Jesus is God chose to become a human being like

Answers to Puzzling Questions Jesus is God chose to become a human being like us in the person of Jesus. If you remember the Christmas story, the Angel Gabriel said to Mary that she would have a child, and that child would be Jesus. That's how God became a human being in the person of Jesus. So, Jesus was not created, it was God becoming a human being. Jesus too was there from the very beginning. 4. Moses: How does God look like? Is God and Jesus the same? How come God is three in one? Answer: God is a spirit ( John 4: 24 ), and so His appearance is not like anything we can describe. Exodus 33: 20 tells us, “You cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live. ” So, it's hard to describe Him physically because He is Spirit.

Answers to Puzzling Questions But, we know from what the Bible says that God

Answers to Puzzling Questions But, we know from what the Bible says that God is Almighty, He is All. Powerful, He is All-Knowing, He is very, very loving, He is very kind, there's nothing He can't do. He is the creator of each and everyone of us. He is very intelligent. Jesus is God too. There's what we call the Trinity- God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. And they are one. God is three in one. Let me use this illustration: When you look at water, maybe you get it from the tap, place it in a container or cup then place it in the freezer, it becomes ice. When you get that same water and put it on a stove to cook, it becomes steam. Has it changed? NO. It's still the same water but it does different things in different states. That is the same with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Answers to Puzzling Questions 5. Nikiwe Kahangirwe: God does not really get tired and needs rest? Where does God sleep? Answer: In the Bible we read in Genesis that after God had created everything, on the seventh day, He rested. This doesn't mean God was tired, it just means, on that day God didn't create anything else. In Psalm 121: 4 says that God neither sleeps nor slumbers. He is always working and watching over us. 6. Banana: Why is God invisible? Answer: In the Bible we read that God is Spirit ( John 4: 24 ), and because He is Spirit, we cannot be able to see Him. A spirit has no body, it is like the wind, we cannot see the wind but we can feel it. That's the same with God, He is Spirit, you cannot see Him, He is invisible but we can see what He can do, hear what He says and feel Him.

Answers to Puzzling Questions 7. Mukalazi: Where did God get the mighty power from? Answer: God is not like the superheroes we watch on T. V. who get their power from somewhere, God was never created, He has always had the Power; He is All-Powerful. God doesn't get His Power from anywhere, He is the source of all power. 8. Keza: People say God that God is not a He or a she, but I hear in the Bible, they say, “Praise the Lord, Praise Him or He. Answer: You are right. The Bible shows us the people in those days talked about God as He and Him. In the New testament, Jesus speaks of God as Father. And we also refer to God as Him, as Father; the One who created everything. Just like how Daddy leads at home, God is the Father of all creation; things that we see and the things that we don't see, that's why we refer to Him as Him.

Answers to Puzzling Questions 9. Alvin: Where did Satan come from? Did God create

Answers to Puzzling Questions 9. Alvin: Where did Satan come from? Did God create Satan? How did he become evil? Answer: Remember we read from the Bible that God created everything that exists. Everything includes, you and I and all the angels. Satan was created as a holy angel. Isaiah 14: 12. His name was Lucifer. Ezekiel 28: 12 -14 describes Satan as having been created a cherub, apparently the highest created angel. He became arrogant in his beauty and status and decided he wanted to sit on a throne above that of God ( Isaiah 14: 13 -14 ; Ezekiel 28: 15 ; 1 Timothy 3: 6 ). Satan’s pride led to his fall. Notice the many “I will” statements in Isaiah 14: 12 -15. Because of his sin, God permanently removed Satan from his exalted position and role. Satan became the ruler of this world and the prince of the power of the air ( John 12: 31 ; 2 Corinthians

Answers to Puzzling Questions 10. What does Satan look like? Answer: The closest the Bible comes to describing what Satan and the demons look like is in 2 Corinthians 11: 14 , “Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. ” One problem—and it’s a big one—with trying to describe what Satan looks like is that he is a spirit being. Spirits have no body, hence cannot be seen, but we read from the Bible where Satan takes different forms. In Genesis, he came in form of a snake. He is also known to be mean and doesn't like people, he hates God and he likes to do bad things to people. He is very evil. Satan is a thief, killer and destroyer. John 10: 10.

Answers to Puzzling Questions 11. In the book of Job 1: 6 why was Satan among the angels gathered before God and yet he had been cast out of heaven? Answer: According to the verse, we find Satan in God's presence: "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them" ( Job 1: 6). He requested permission to attack Job and it was granted. It is at least clear Satan had access to God at that time. No explanation is given for why Satan was given this access. However, it appears to have been limited and by God's clear purpose and Will. Then the Bible also says that Satan accuses God's people. Where does he take these accusations? He takes them to God. Do you know who defends us? Jesus is our defender when Saturn is accusing us.

Answers to Puzzling Questions 12. Why did Satan want to take over God's throne?

Answers to Puzzling Questions 12. Why did Satan want to take over God's throne? Answer: Pride comes before a down fall (Proverbs 16: 18). And that's exactly what happened to Satan. His pride caused him to desire God's Throne, but God cast him out; that was his down fall. 13. Tefillah: Did God create demons? Answer: God did not create demons. The Bible in Revelation 12: 4, 7 that demons were originally created as angels and existed as part of God’s angelic army. However, when Satan rebelled against God, one third of the angelic host joined him in his rebellion, which is why Scripture refers to them collectively as “Satan. . . and his angels” (Revelation 12: 9 ). Most likely, these fallen angels who rebelled with Satan are the beings the Bible refers to as “demons. ”
