Trust in God’s power! Are you consumed by worry (Matthew 6), fear (Romans 8)? 1 Peter 5: 7 If we believe in a powerful God and a loving God, trusting Him to deal with our issues is not difficult. We must trust in our Lord!!

Distractions 1 Kings 10: 26– 11: 4 “His heart was no longer fully devoted to the Lord his God as the heart of David his father had been. ” Application What are things in your life that may lead your heart astray from your God?
Distractions Money? Women? (Men? ) Caution to young people Work? School? Videogames? Books? Social life? The list could go on and on.
Distractions Can be subtle The devil is just as happy to send you to hell by occupying your time with less meaningful things as he is sending you to hell for “spectacular wickedness. ” Let us be careful “lest our heart be led astray. ”
