GOD LOVED YOU BEFORE YOU WERE BORN GOD

GOD LOVED YOU BEFORE YOU WERE BORN

GOD KNEW YOU “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb” First 6 verses 13 personal pronouns and verb “yada” (Hebrew for ‘to know’) occurs 7 times God doesn’t just know about David, but God knows him

How well does God know you? He couldn’t know you better ”Every day of my life was recorded in your book” – Refers to God’s continual knowledge of His children It is God’s personal knowledge of “me” that has captured the heart of David

GOD HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE ”I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence!” God is fully present in David’s formation as a baby God saw us when we could not be seen and wrote about us when there was nothing to write about

David confesses that while he cannot know the sum of God’s thoughts, he does know that God is with him God will not let go of our hand no matter how dark it gets God is here – He is reachable, knowable, available, and real

GOD GIVES YOU PURPOSE If God made us, He knows, He sees everything, and deeply loves us, only in Him do we find real meaning God has shaped you and made you in His own image To have an intimate relationship with someone is perhaps the deepest longing of the human heart

God will judge us according to what we have done with what He has given us We can take the miracle of life and wreck it or we can present our bodies to the Lord as a living sacrifice “Search me, O God, and know my heart… Point out anything in me that offends you”

SUMMARY God knows you better and deeper than anyone else, including yourself God was with you from the very beginning and will continue to be until the end A love that intense and deep demands a response
