God Calls us to Salvation through the Gospel “… God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. ” -- 2 Thessalonians 2: 13 -14

God Calls us Out of Darkness into Light “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” -- 1 Peter 2: 9

God Calls us to be Saints or “Holy Ones” “To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours” -- 1 Corinthians 1: 2
