Heart - In the Hebrew language it is the seat of desire, inclination, or will. It can also include emotions and knowledge. In wisdom literature it is used as a synonym of “mind. ” “Guard your heart for out of it flow the springs (issues) of life” Prov 4: 23 “Lay it on your heart” that Jehovah is the Lord. Deut 4: 39 “Write these on the tablet of your heart” Prov 3: 3 “I the LORD search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds. ” Jer 17: 10 Deuteronomy 11
