Competence Assessment l Each new employee must show competency in areas of responsibility before assuming duties. l Each employee receives an annual performance evaluation and competency assessment as appropriate or as mandated by law l Any deficiency in the performance of job responsibility or failed competency test will result in the individual’s removal from job duties until retraining and demonstration of competency occurs.
