Partnership On making available valuable and attractive tools for the business community, it is necessary to make affordable the costs to use them. For such reasons, the organization and promotion of Global Management Challenge have been thought for creating value. On sharing this value, we can share costs in order we can make the registration fees for the participants in the competition bearable to all. Like in Portugal, where the associated newspaper is the Expresso, the biggest and prestigious weekly business newspaper, in all the other countries the organization and carry out of Global Management Challenge always associate SDG (or an affiliated or partner) with one or more newspapers of great circulation and prestige, the sponsorship and cooperation of a group of companies and other organizations, engaged with a rather rigorous criteria, and a JURY formed with three personalities with reckoned prestige from the business and academic communities.
Partnership On the other hand, because the participants come mainly from Universities and Companies, and because an important set of social events are organized during each edition, and also because Global Management Challenge is unique and international, the project is an excellent bridge between the Universities and the Companies, and attracts the interest and enthusiasm of the main media vehicles, namely television, radio, journals and magazines, once it involves: As main target groups, corporate directors and managers The improvement and enhancing of relationship with advertisers Extensive VIP promotion Top-level international contact A long-term targeted feature It carries an image association with the participation of major corporations
Partnership Therefore, along the different steps of the competition, important social events occur, attracting especially high and qualified media coverage, and all the media reporting and mentions of the Global Management Challenge, are usually accompanied with references to the Sponsors of the respective edition. Besides, during the several events, interviews with the CEOs of the major corporations by the journalists wanting to write articles on the Global Management Challenge, to inform their readers why and how those corporations are involved, usually occur. Also several and special materials are prepared to be distributed and or adequately displayed in the sites the events are taking place. Sponsors and Media have specific privileges and benefits, such as: Name exposure: the Name and/or Logo appears on promotional materials (leaflets, advertisements, presentations, brochures) used to divulge the Global Management Challenge, on documentation distributed to the participants and also on special documents, such as diplomas, trophies, banners and Internet Website;
Partnership Sponsor Brochures: Sponsors have the opportunity to send directly any promotional material to the participants of the Global Management Challenge; At the Social Events: Sponsors may deliver a special message, and display printed material, run videotapes or have any specific promotional programs. Such programs must be co-ordinated by the Organizer. Together with the other attributes, the project on attracting such a media coverage and impact, it represents an excellent opportunity for the Sponsors, for enhancing awareness and visibility and also to link and improve their image among a rather selective audience community. The Global Management Challenge, is also a very powerful and efficient promotional vehicle.
Newspaper conditions NEWSPAPER undertakes to support and to grant adequate media coverage to each of the editions of Global Management Challenge alongside the different steps, namely: i) the gathering marking the launching of each edition; ii) advertising the results of each round of the contest and the succeeded teams; iii) advertising and report to the public the results of national final and the national winner teams; iv) and the official social events. NEWSPAPER shall grant the before mentioned coverage not only through the Newspaper itself, but also through other vehicles integrating the Group. This coverage will assume the form of news, press reports and advertising of each stage and events of the respective edition of Global Management Challenge.
Newspaper conditions In each time, the format and size of the press reports will be priory agreed. Anyhow NEWSPAPER will make available in its columns, as a minimum space per edition, to advertise the events related to Global Management Challenge. In the media coverage of all the events related to Global Management Challenge and steps of the respective competition, the NEWSPAPER will secure adequate highlighting of the Sponsors and their brand names. Included in the advertising and press services aimed hereto, NEWSPAPER agrees, in a suitable time, to introduce in the press reports a comprehensive notice on the competition and respective rules, with the purposes of attracting more participants.
Newspaper conditions AGENT will in due time provide NEWSPAPER with a detailed calendar of all the competitions integrating the respective edition of Global Management Challenge and its social events, and representatives of both sides will maintain a systematic dialogue regarding to potentiate a mutual and fruitful cooperation.
