I Chron. 29: 12 -13 — “Both riches & honor come from You, & You rule over all; & in Your hand is power & might; & it lies in Your hand to make great & to strengthen everyone. 13 Now therefore, our God, we thank You, & praise Your glorious name. 2 Cor. 9: 10 -11 - “Now He who supplies seed to the sower & bread for food will supply & multiply your seed for sowing & increase the harvest of your righteousness; 11 you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God. 12 For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God. ”
God’s Abundant Care and Provision v Phil. 4: 19 — “And my God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. ” v Matt. 6: 33 — “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. ”
This includes all the ways that God Blesses! Luke 6: 38 refers to ways that blessing is measurable. “For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return. ” This is the nature of FAITH. Hebrews 11: 1 — “. . . faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. ” AND: “This is what the ancients were commended for. ”
Which is God’s Approach? 1. You must see in order to believe. OR, order to see. 2. You must believe in
Some practiced “see to believe” • Israelites when Moses first came (Exo. 4: 5) • Queen of Sheba (I Kings 10: 7) • Zechariah, father of John (Luke 1: 20, 63 -64) • Disciples on the road to Emmaus (Lk. 24: 25) • Nicodemus (John 3: 12) • Mary & Martha (John 11: 40) • Thomas (John 20: 27 -29)
Some practiced “believe to see” • Two blind men who wanted to see (Matt. 9: 28) • The way Jesus told us to pray (Matt. 21: 22) • The father of a boy with a fierce demon (Mark 9: 24) • Woman with blood issue. “Your faith has made you well…” (Luke 8: 48) • Jairus, whose daughter had died (Luke 8: 50)
• Paul (Eph. 1: 18 -19 — I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. ) Some practiced “believe to see”

Traps You Can Avoid Trap 1 — An Independent Spirit Deu. 8: 11 – “Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments…” 17 -18 — “Otherwise, you may say in your heart, ‘My power & the strength of my hand made me this wealth. ’ 18 But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth. . . ”
Trap 2 — Materialism • Col. 3: 5 -6 - “Consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, & greed, which amounts to idolatry. 6 For it is because of these things that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience”
When you see giving as an act of worship, it will Phil. 4: 18 — “They (financial gifts) are a fragrant change your heart! offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. ” Trap 2 — Materialism
Trap 3 — Inadequate Provision • Jesus said, “With the measure you use, it will be measured to you. ” - Luke 6: 38 • 2 Cor. 9: 6 — “He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. ”

' says the Lord, 'OR WHAT PLACE IS THERE FOR MY REPOSE? 50 'WAS IT NOT MY HAND WHICH MADE ALL THESE THINGS? '
