GIRLS LOCKER ROOM PROCEDURES Physical Education 2016 -2017

Entering the Locker Room: Ø Line up in a straight line according to grade level outside Ø Enter the locker room when teacher calls for your grade level Ø Make sure your phone is in your back pack before entering Ø All food and drinks must be thrown away before entering

LOCKER ROOM RULES: Ø Walk inside the locker room Ø NO FOOD or DRINKS allowed inside (No glass containers & no eating at any time) Ø DON’T share lockers, stay in your assigned locker Ø DON’T touch the bulletin boards, white boards or signs posted Ø If you change PE periods, let the PE teacher know that is inside the locker room Ø The locker room is closed before school, after school, during lunch and snack Ø Do not come into the locker room when it is not your PE period. Take what ever you need with you

LOCKER ROOM RULES cont. Ø Take your PE clothes Ø Once you are dressed home on Friday to wash into your PE clothes, and bring them back on exit the locker room. Monday DO NOT wait for your friends or hang out. Go Ø Only on Monday outside and start mornings, you can walking a 1 -1 enter the locker room before school to put your PE clothes in your locker Ø If you are having problems in the locker room, tell a PE teacher

CELL PHONES: Ø NO CELL PHONES out at all Ø You cannot have your cell phone out before school, after school, during snack, lunch, or your PE time inside the locker room Ø You cannot have it out to check the time, text, call someone, etc Ø Your cell phone must be in your backpack before you enter the locker room

LOCKER CARDS: Ø There are different colored cards for each grade level Ø BLUE = 8 th grade Ø GREEN = 7 th grade Ø YELLOW = 6 th grade Ø You will fill out the cards in pencil (printing dark)

LOCKER CARDS cont. Ø Ø Ø Write your last name on the first line Write your first name on the second line Write your grade level and period Ø Lock serial number 42682041 (long MIDDLE number on the back of the lock) Ø 3 number combination 32 -9 -16 Ø Ø Locker Number (assigned by teacher) Section Letter (assigned by teacher)

LOCK & LOCKER INFO: Ø Everyone needs to have a lock, NO EXCEPTIONS Ø Write down your lock and locker information in your binder reminder Ø Write it down on the page number that is the same date as your birthday (example: September 16 th = page 16) Ø Write down your lock serial number, combination, locker number, and section Ø DON’T give out your combination to anyone, not even your BFF, hide your numbers when you open it

LOCKERS: Ø Lockers are assigned according to period Ø Everyone is assigned a small locker Ø Your belongings go in the big locker during your PE time ONLY Ø Make sure you lock everything up Per 6 Per 5 Per 4/7 Per 3 BIG LOCKER Use during PE time ONLY Per 2 Per 1

LOCKERS cont. Ø Make sure your backpack and all of your belongings are secured in your big locker during PE (take things out of your back pack if needed to make it fit) Ø If you don’t lock your stuff up, check with the PE teacher first before you think it’s stolen Ø Make sure there are no straps or strings hanging out of your locker (things will get tied up if left outside)

LOCKERS cont. Ø Buying a school lock is the best way Ø If you buy your own lock (outside of school) you risk the chance of getting your lock cut off if it ends up on the wrong locker or in the wrong place Ø Do not change lockers without permission from the PE teacher Wrong Locks Lock cut off

LOCKERS cont. Ø Make sure your locker is kept clean at all times Ø Clean the dirt out with the broom and dust pan (return after use) Ø Do not tag or make any markings inside or outside of your locker and anybody else’s locker Ø Throw all trash in the trash can

BLUE CAGE: Ø If your lock ends up missing, check the blue cage first to see if it’s there Ø Look in your binder reminder to match up the serial number written down to the number on the back of the lock on the cage

UNIFORMS: Ø First and last name needs to be on both shirts and shorts Ø Blue/gold shorts only for those that earned it Ø Non-suits = lock up your back pack and go outside. Do not hang out in the locker room

Red Vest Policy Ø Bring in a doctor’s note or parent note to excuse you from PE Ø If you have a note, bring your back pack and place it in the blue cage in exchange for a red vest

LOST IN FOUND: Ø If you lose jewelry, keys, phone, or anything else valuable, check in the PE office Ø Table for lost clothes Ø Red bin for lost shoes Ø Items missing out of your locker that weren’t locked up, check with PE teacher

INFORMATION TABLE: Ø Papers are for you to take Ø DO NOT take them or mess with them if you don’t want them or they don’t pertain to you

RESTROOMS: Ø Stalls are to be used for the restroom ONLY, not for dressing into your PE clothes Ø Make sure you take all of your belongings with you. DO NOT leave any of your belongings in the stall Ø If you find anything that doesn’t belong to you, turn it into the PE teacher

Miscellaneous: Ø Make sure you ALWAYS leave you lock on your assigned locker the entire year. Don’t take your lock home during holidays or weekends Ø At the end of the year, make sure you clean out your locker completely, otherwise your items will be donated Ø We DO NOT store your stuff over the summer
