Knots at Ball Stop…. (thongs on right are illegal. The secondary attachment string must be “nominally the same size as the thong. These are illegal for USL. They are . significantly smaller. Good example for knots, but illegal example for thong attachment. Legal for HS/Jr High Play …. Knots can tie “around” ball stop …. Not legal for NCAA play Legal for NCAA and for HS/Jr High Play … Knots below ball stop … String “looping” aroung ball stop is OK
