July 31 st, 2007 • In Canada and the north-central US, MODIS and OMI show thick aerosols plumes. CALIOP overpass has a plume above the boundary layer. • In the Southeastern US OMI doesn’t see aerosols located mostly in the boundary layer according to CALIOP. 5/6/2009
