The Gift of Community 4 You are coming to Christ, who is the living cornerstone of God's temple. He was rejected by people, but he was chosen by God for great honor. 5 And you are living stones that God is building into his spiritual temple. 1 Peter 2: 4 -5 v Who has helped you be part of the church? v What were they doing?

10 God has given each of you a gift Guide others Reach out Handle crises Decide direction Speak clearly Teach truth Serve people Encourage Give freely Show kindness from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. 11. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen. 1 Peter 4: 10 -11

The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body.
