GOALS providing instructional time for gifted learners to interact with their academic and age-level peers, as well as providing time for them to work independently challenging students with curricula developed for gifted learners offering professional development for teachers in best practices in gifted education partnering classroom teachers with gifted resource teachers to collaboratively deliver an appropriately differentiated curriculum
CURRICULUM (Leadership & Innovation) Essential Questions What is a leader? What are the characteristics and skills of a leader? What does being a leader mean to you? How can you demonstrate leadership in a supporting role? Why might leaders need to be innovative? Enduring Understandings Each person has his/her own leadership style. Leadership actions of all sizes can have significant impact. Leadership requires communication, collaboration, making connections, creativity and innovation, and critical thinking and problem solving.
