Why create a logic model? See Handout pg. 4 Logic models are useful in planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating. Describes program and focuses evaluation work. Helps match evaluation to the actual program so that what is measured what is appropriate and relevant. A logic model expresses your “theory of action” or “theory of change”. Help make assumptions about a give program explicit. Faulty assumptions are often the reason for poor results.
