Recent project example • • $20, 800 for geothermal $13, 900 for conventional (gas, cent. air) $12, 300 for high efficiency ASHP Net incremental cost of geothermal after federal tax credit - $60 compared to conventional system, $16, 600 compared to ASHP system. • Annual energy costs of geo were less than half - $800 vs. $2, 200.
