Three Branches of Georgia’s Government • • Legislative: Creates the Laws General Assembly Governor Executive: Carries out and enforces Laws Judicial: Interprets how the law will apply Supreme Court Each branch: has separate powers to carry out their functions. • The division of the powers among the three is known as Separation of Power. • Each uses its power to check and balance the actions of the others.
