As you and your child read through this syllabus, and the school year begins through remote learning, it is important to remember that what I will be teaching will never be able to fully replace the learning experiences I planned for my classroom this term. I will do my best to give every student the best education I can given the circumstances. With that being said. . . Get ready, Get Set. . Let’s learn and grow!!!! Contingency Plan for Technology What to do if the internet or device is not working? Try a little troubleshooting: Tip #1 Try a different web browser. Certain websites work better on Chrome, others on Firefox, Safari or Microsoft Edge. Tip #2 Log out and back in again. If this doesn’t work, quit the browser or app you are using and open it again. If this doesn’t work either, restart the device. What to do if the internet or device is still not working? If the teacher’s device stops working during the morning live Zoom lesson, then the student should work on i. Ready Reading independently. If the teacher’s device stops working during the afternoon live Zoom lesson, then the student should work on i. Ready Math independently. If your internet or device stops working during the morning or afternoon Zoom lesson, try to log back in to the meeting. If you are not able to log back into the meeting, you must email or call your teacher and give an explanation about your technology issues. You will still be responsible for completing your assignments when your internet or device is working again.
