The Steering Committee will have two Co-Chairs, one from the SUS (not yet determined) and one from the Florida College System (Dr. Judy Bilsky).

Gunnels Assistant Professor of Animal Behavior “The chair of the State Board of Education (FCS) and the chair of the Board of Governors (SUS), or their designees, shall jointly appoint faculty committees to identify statewide general education core course options. ” Five committees will be created (one for each of the five areas of General Education), with 12 members for each committee (6 from SUS and 6 from FCS). Provosts of each campus, working with their respective Steering Committee members, have nominated faculty from each campus.
