Gender Equality – Objectives set for the General Assembly 2017 • 2011 General Assembly set the overall objectives of equality work • Women and men will have the same opportunities, rights and responsibilities at all levels and in all areas • Gender mainstreaming should be integrated into the daily operations and all areas of activity
Quantitative objectives set for the General Assembly 2017 • In all decision-making and advisory bodies women/men are represented by at least 40 % • In senior positions women/men are represented by at least 40 % • Women and men are represented by at least 40 %: – In child and youth sports on the sport club level – In the upper secondary sports schools – among leaders of the National teams of Special Sports Confederations
When evaluated in the beginning of 2016 it is obvious that the objectives of gender equality will not to be achieved by the majority of the Special Sports Federations. § Special Sports Federation boards: 35/65 % § 9 of 10 top ten largest federations: 40/60 % Therefore the work on gender equality will be intensified

Gender equality - quantitative objectives 2025 • The proportion of women and men in senior positions, such as Secretary General, Sports, Education or Development Manager or similar, within the different organizations in sports amounts to at least 40 percent.
