GCSE Science • Science is a core subject and in this course you will study aspects of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. • This course will also develop your investigative and problem solving skills, as well as enhancing critical thinking skills. • The course will also develop your data analysis skills that cross over with Mathematics. The course also strives to ensure that the science is explored in real world contexts, rather than just abstract concepts in isolation.

GCSE Combined Science • Two exams that cover the Biology content • Two exams that cover the Chemistry content • Two exams that cover the Physics content Each exam lasts 1 hour 15 minutes and is worth 16. 7% of the overall GCSE.
GCSE Combined Science • Students will be awarded two GCSE grades ranging from 9 -9 to 1 -1 (this can include split grades, e. g. 7 -6). • There will be a Higher and Foundation tier for each examination. • Throughout the course students will complete 21 required practical tasks and they will be assessed on their understanding of these in all of their examinations.
GCSE Triple Science • Two exams that cover the Biology content • Two exams that cover the Chemistry content • Two exams that cover the Physics content Each exam lasts 1 hour 45 minutes and is worth 50% of the overall GCSE.
GCSE Triple Science • Students will be awarded three GCSE grades ranging from 9 -1. (one in Biology, one in Chemistry and one in Physics) • There will be a Higher and Foundation tier for each examination. • Throughout the course students will complete 28 required practical tasks and they will be assessed on their understanding of these in all of their examinations.
