One paragraph on the short -term effects of the figure/group a second on the long-term impacts. Short Term Impact- How things were changed at the time Long Term Impact- How the ripples of the event/person/movement were felt long afterwards and how that event/person is remembered today Deep – how deeply did it impact people’s lives? Importance – how important was it at the time? Relevance – how much did it contribute to today’s understanding? Time – how long has it affected people’s lives for? Total – how many people were affected? Paragraph 1 Opening sentence to introduce the first main similarity or difference. How far do you agree with this statement? 16 marks + SPAG Three paragraphs and a conclusion - always discuss the reason in the exam question first.
