Procedure 1. Prepare a solution of broth in an autoclave jar ● use 300 ml of water and 2. 4 g of powder nutrient broth ● mix until powder is dissolved 2. Divide the solution between four flasks ● Each should have 75 ml 3. Heat up each flask with the broth in it until the broth reaches a boil ● let flasks cool 4. Cover flasks with stoppers ● place stopper (no hole) over Flask 1 ● place stopper (with hole) over Flask 2 ● place stopper (with hole) over Flask 3 and place the bent glass in the stopper ● leave Flask 4 uncovered 5. Observe flasks over the course of a week and record all necessary data.
