ENSURING QUALITY o. Garment technology is crucial the success of a fashion retailer – ensuring products can be made at the right price, to the required design and maintaining quality standards o. GT’s have to consider the commercial aspects e. g. fabric choices, manufacturing processes and quality standards o. Ensuring products are adapting to trends is also critical, to ensure a retailer’s collections are meeting customer needs and expectations
TASK Please undertake a comparative shop over a selection of retailers. You will be comparing like for like product from a retailer of your choice to their competition on the high street. You will need to compare them with at to at least three other retailers, identifying which brands are their closest direct competitors.
TASK Using the Questions listed and taking relevant images, carry out a comparitive shop on each store. This can be done digitally or physically
