NCOP – National Collaborative Outreach Programme NCOP is a national programme which runs across schools, colleges and Higher Education institutions in England. NCOP aims to support young people make informed choices about their future, making them more aware of opportunities available to them and providing projects/activities to support them progress in their future studies and careers.

All Future Programmes will include: 1. Visit to a University 2. Links to industry and alumni 3. A student task (mini project) 4. Celebration event

Future Teachers o Routes into teaching workshop with Leeds Beckett University o Trip to Sheffield University Education Taster day o Top-tips from ex-Notre Dame students on your teaching career o Childhood and Education Taster day at Leeds Trinity University o Trip to visit a Pupil Referral Unit or SEN school

Future Engineers o Engineering Explained workshop with Leeds University o Visit a local engineering company, tour and overview of their projects o HE Trip and Campus Tour to Birmingham or Nottingham University o Green Energy and Robotics workshops with Bradford University

Future Digital o Routes into a Digital Future and the skills required workshop o Visit to Platform (tech hub) in Leeds with Future Media team o Trip to BT or SKY offices in Leeds, meet staff and find out more about the industry o Trip to Leeds Trinity University for a tour and Subject Focus Day o Digital work experience placement

Future Media o Workshop with award winning BBC documentary maker o Visit to Media dept. at Manchester University and Media City (BBC), Digital Art exhibition at The Lowry o Work on the college Student Newspaper o Visit to Platform – digital media hub in Leeds o Talk by award-winning author and blogger, Vicky Psarias

Future Public Services • Be part of the Future Public Services Programme if you would you like a career that is highly diverse, exciting and innovative, where it is Project management, Finance, Policy writing, Social Work, Law, HR, Immigration, Housing, Health, Education. o Civil Service Presentation and Skills Workshop o University of Law Debating Workshop o University of Leeds presentation on Social Sciences
