Are You All In?
Boring Facts
Proverbs 16: 3 3 Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. 2 Options 1. Set Up 1 Fundraiser for your team with the full amount of your goal. 2. Have each team member set up their own fundraiser with their personal goal.
1. Set Up 1 Fundraiser for your team with the full amount of your goal. • Each team member may not have the patience to set up a fundraiser, and may wish to share yours. • People who don’t use Facebook or other social media often may be more comfortable sharing this way. • You get 1 link to share the info across many platforms.
2. Have each team member set up their own fundraiser with their personal goal. • We do not get individual credit for fundraising. So the person who creates the fundraiser will be a familiar face to their friends and family. • People are more likely to give if they recognize the person they are supporting in the ministry. • Donors will be more recognizable and the information will be easily attained for tracking and thanking individually.
Simple Steps • Type the link to the Facebook Fundraiser Page • Setup Your Fundraiser • Put in the EXACT info required • Share Fundraiser
You Will Need You will need: • Your username and password to Facebook • OR a device that is logged in under YOUR account. • Access to the internet • Your Advisory Council Name • The State You Live In • Friends And/Or Family
For The Advanced User: https: //www. facebook. com/fund/kairosprisonministry/ This is the url for the Facebook page for Kairos Prison Ministry International. You can use this url or you can search for it on Facebook.
https: //www. facebook. com/kairosprisonministry/ For the not so advanced user: Go to Facebook Search Kairos Prison Ministry
This is the Facebook page that you want to go to. This logo needs to be present. There should be over 5 k likes on this page. Click the link.
This is what the page looks like. But no matter how tempting… DO NOT click donate. That is to make donations but not to start a Fundraiser. DO NOT CLICK THE DONATE BUTTON X
Click the +Create Fundraiser button. If the blue create button appears, it is safe to click that, although that may or may not be there. Clicking the white button under the picture is the correct place to start your fundraiser.
Once you click Create Fundraiser you will see this pop up screen. Fill out the amount that you are wanting to raise, and then select the end date for your fundraiser.
This point is where this becomes the vital part of this process. Make sure that you alter this line to show “Kairos” then “your state” then “your advisory council” in my case this would be “Kairos Georgia Lee Arrendale”.
Don’t get cute, this HAS to read: KAIROS (Your State) (Your Admin Council)
This is optional you can change the cover photo. You can leave it like this if you want.
Once you click create, you will see your Fundraiser appear. Congratulations. If you now click your title of your fundraiser, you can make it a successful fundraiser. Now you have your Fundraiser set up.
Clicking your fundraiser takes you to your fundraiser page. This is where you can click invite and invite your friends and family, click share and share it on your timeline, find the link and you can email it, text it, or share on another social media account.
INVITE YOUR FRIENDS Even if you don’t want to “harass them” Click invite, yes you have to invite people or they will never see it.
Pick the friends to invite, or just invite everyone.
This is the link to this page. Scroll half way down the page and you will find this link, this is the link to invite people outside Facebook to see your fundraiser. You don’t have to have a Facebook account to donate to the fundraiser. You can paste this into an email, twitter, text, etc.
Share your Fundraiser often The best times to share your fundraiser. Yes you shared it when you first started it. 30 minutes later, it was gone. It disappeared into the unknown… If you want people to see it, share it several more times over the course of the fundraiser. Treat this like your ALL IN.
MOST SUCCESSFUL AND RESPONSIVE TIMES TO SHARE YOUR FUNDRAISER *These times will change regularly, . As of January 2019 this information is accurate. Wednesday 2 pm Thursday 10 -2 Friday 9 am-1 pm (Best Time)
Share your Fundraiser often Keep in mind that this is a Non Profit, and therefore Facebook does not keep any of the transaction fees. Funds are transferred to the Headquarters bank account 45 -60 days after the donation date. At that point, Headquarters send a check to the State Treasurer. Treat this like you’re ALL IN
Congratulations! Your Fund Raiser is Complete, now you can share that link on other social media sites.
Acts 20: 35 “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive. ’” When we don’t ask people to support our ministry, we are denying them their blessings. Many people want to help and don’t know how. Many people don’t know that you are doing this ministry. Many people don’t understand this ministry By posting a fundraiser on Facebook you are opening up opportunities for fundraising, but also for recruitment, for talking about the ministry, for prayer warriors, and so much more.
