Teacher’s turn The Great Wall of Water By Miss Matthews See the waves so calm, so still, Waiting on the shore so tranquil, Scorching under the sun’s strong beams, Glistening water so blue it gleams. A roar, a rumble comes from within, The water ripples, the storm begins. A wall of water grows so high, As tall as a tower reaching up to the sky. Grander and taller the water stands, What will become of the luxurious sands? Destruction, chaos and havoc come now, When the wall of water violently crashes down. See the waves so calm, so still, Silence again waiting until, The next rumble enrages the sea, But no=one knows just when that will be.
