GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS §English: 4 years §Math: (Integr. Math 1) or higher & 1 more year (2 yrs total) §Visual & Performing Arts: 1 year §P. E. : 2 years §Science: 2 years (1 physical and 1 life science) §American Government: 1 semester (paired with SS elective) §US History: 1 year §World History: 1 year §Social Studies: 1 semester (paired with Amer. Government) §Health: 1 semester §Economics: 1 semester (paired with public speaking) §Senior project §Community service: 10 credit class or 60 hours
ADVANTAGES OF A BLOCK SCHOOL § 8 Total Classes per Year § 4 Classes in the Fall/ 4 Classes in the Spring §Exceptions are yearlong classes: ROTC, AVID, IM 1 with Support, & AP Calc AB/BC §Computer determines the order of classes §Students may sequence World Language and Math, 2 classes a year §Students will get more academic electives over the course of their 4 years on a block schedule
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS A senior math class is HIGHLY recommended by ALL colleges & universities. Passing 3 years with a C- or better will also count for your World Language graduation requirement from any CSU university!
