*Take breaks about every 45 minutes *Highlight key works and sentences *Take notes to ask questions of teachers on material you do not understand *Compare notes to study guides and ask “Will this be a test question? ” *Use fold over technique to quiz yourself or have someone quiz you during 2 nd week studying *Do not expect to remember everything after the first, second, third, or fourth time reviewing – the more repetition the better *

*Get a good night’s sleep before each exam *Eat a good nutritious meal for dinner and breakfast *Read each question fully and mark best answer *If you don’t know it – skip it, then come back later in test. *Show work or tell what you do know *Never leave a question unanswered *
