Welcome! Park rats and speedsters… To the 20/21 season
Fun Trips!
Hard days of training. . .
Sometimes we go out at night
Sometimes we win things
Welcome to 20/21 Covid 19 rules Lunch/cold weather Competitions Team Snap Great Staff - unified and adaptable Ski Cross is growing up
How do we COVID-19 and ski at the same time? COVID -19 stress is real. Parents, coaches and athletes all coping with stress differently. Resort staff is likely to have multiple stress points, work with the resort whenever possible. Know the symptoms, stay home if questionable. Do your best to disarm tense situations. Covid means masks… all the time. Keep extra face masks, layers, goggles and sanitizer with you.
COLDEST DAYS… And lunch Pay attention to weather reports. Dress appropriately! No cotton kids, please. Extra layers, heated boots, hand warmers and keeping the blood moving is our refuge from the cold… Hiking rails is fun! Coldest of days, practice schedule will be modified. No lodges for lunch, pack smart lunches… You CANNOT buy a lunch this winter and stay with the team for practice. When possible, Woodward Barn.
USASA/FIS events Paul with USASA and US Ski and Snowboard are working to have a schedule posted ASAP Expect new competition formats, expedited heats and groupings that keep team’s together Value training days over competition days this year
