President Putin • President Vladimir Putin looks like a very professional, outstanding president. He is standing there with confidence and most citizens want a president leading their country who looks confident and can stand up and lead with pride for the people. What most people do not know is that Putin is for himself and the power. He doesn’t follow the laws in the constitution of Russia.
Russian Statistics of Free Press/Speech • This picture represent the levels of how the freedom of press was in 2012 in all different countries. People giving examples This is a picture of a group that is against Putin. As you can tell by the poster it explains how Putin is acting as a dictator and not caring about the opinions of the citizens, but he cares when it comes out in newspapers or on the internet, just like on this poster. This picture is showing two girls with tape over their mouths because they basically have to keep shut about anything they see bad in Russia because Putin doesn’t want outsiders to think of Russia as horrible if they post or write anything that doesn’t follow the orders of Putin. If they are seen protesting or sharing their personal opinions they could be punished.
What you want is not what you get The people of Russia want the picture on the right which shows the nation of Russia and the colors that represent Russia. Inside is “FREE SPEECH ZONE, ” but Putin doesn’t allow that. Citizens of Russia are afraid to speak up because they are afraid of what the outcome with Putin will be, which can be shown by the picture on the left.
