The country we researched is Senegal! Senegal is a French speaking country and they speak French as one of their official languages along as Arabic. The currency used in Senegal is CFA francs. 1 euro is worth 656 CFA francs. The weather is very hot over there. This week the weather is roasting! The weather goes from 29 degrees Celsius up to 32 degrees Celsius. Senegal are currently building a 160 feet tall, bronze monument in Dakar, one of the main cities in Senegal. A whole 39 languages are spoken in Senegal. Arabic and French are the 2 official languages. Some of the other languages that are spoken are : Jola, Serer, Mandinka, Wolof, Pulaar and Soninke.
