Menton Lemon Festival For two weeks every spring, oranges and lemons take over the city of Menton. There are parades of fruit-covered floats by day and by night, with 10 metre high statues and models made from citrus in the Biovès Gardens.

Bastille Day in Paris – July 14 is the biggest and most important festival in France. It celebrates the storming of the Bastille and the beginning of the French Revolution with a massive parade.

Macarons The macaron and the concept of romantic love have a fair amount in common; both have their roots in the Middle Ages, became hugely popular through 19 th-century creativity and industriousness.
