Two of the most important monuments of France: The Eiffel Tower and the Church

Two of the most important monuments of France: The Eiffel Tower and the Church of Notre Dame. Eiffel Tower is a tower located in the capital of France (Paris), beside the River Seine, with a height of 330 meters. It was built by French engineer Gustave Eiffel in 1884. During 40 years this tower became the world's highest. The Church of Notre-Dame is one of the French older Gothic cathedrals. Built in 1163 -1245 it is dedicated to Mary, mother of Jesus, hence its name. It is situated on the Ile de la Cité in Paris and is surrounded by the River Seine.
