GRAFFITI WALK! Directions: Use the quadrilateral card to find your partner(s) with the same quadrilateral as you. Once you have found your partner(s), please find the poster with the quadrilateral that matches your card. Use the marker located by the poster to list as many attributes about the shape and draw as many shapes that exemplify your quadrilateral.

WE ARE FAMILY! Every pair of students will be given the name of a quadrilateral to fill in on their sheet of paper, and a sheet of paper with a picture of every quadrilateral and all of the attributes of quadrilaterals. Cut out the shapes, but do not glue/tape/staple anything to your paper! Locate the shape that matches the name of the quadrilateral you were given. Place it under “My Quadrilateral” on this worksheet. Select every property that goes with that shape. Place it under “All of its Properties”. Select all of the shapes that have the same properties and place them under “Yes”. Select all of the shapes that don’t have all the properties and place them under “No. ” When you and your partner are done and agree on the placement of everything, raise your hand for your teacher to check your work. If everything is correct, write in each attribute on this sheet of paper. (The teacher will then give you a new “We are Family!” sheet and the name of a different quadrilateral)

2 Truths and 1 Lie o. Game played similarly to Quiz- Trade o. Students must first identify the 1 false statement on each card. They must also justify how they know this is a false statement. o. Students can then quiz each other by folding the card along the line.

2 Truths and 1 Lie Which statement is false? A parallelogram can have two 45˚ angles and two 75˚ angles. A rhombus can have two 60˚ angles and two 120˚ angles. A trapezoid can have two right angles, one 45˚angle, and one 135˚ angle.
COMPARING QUADRILATERALS
Students can work individually, in pairs, or within small groups. Each slide contains a sentence with one blank. The student must decide if the word "always, sometimes, or never" should be inserted into that blank. Individual students can be called up to drag the correct word on top of the blank. If the student is correct, the words "Good Job" will appear. If the student is incorrect, that answer choice will disappear and the words "Try Again" will appear. The "Always, Sometimes, Never- student cards" Word document contains cards that can be copied on (green, yellow, and red) card stock or paper for the students to hold up before the answer is revealed. If you open the "Always, Sometimes, Never- Oral Drill with answers" Word document, you will find a sheet that can be printed out for the students as well as an answer key.
