This presentation reports the development of Vocabulary Item-Bank of English (VIBE) A three-year computer assisted vocabulary item-bank project funded by the Indonesian government.

Three-year project: n n n In the first year, the project focuses on the development of the item-bank/database In the second year, the focus will be on investigating the reliability and validity of VIBE used as a vocabulary-size test. In the third year, the effectiveness of VIBE to foster autonomous vocabulary learning will be investigated.
