Trail Drive Map Create a Map of Texas and Contiguous States that your trail drive would travel through. Include supply towns, watering holes, grass land, geological formations, and Native American Tribal areas on your way to either the rail head in Abilene, Kansas or any other railhead on the map.

Motto and Brand Create a Motto for your Cattle Company as discussed in class. On the same paper, draw a brand for your company you would use on your cattle and horses. Include a paragraph on each that would a description of the symbolism.
Trail Drive Short Story Write a short story of a cow, horse, or dog of a day in the life on a trail drive from their perspective. Follow the plot cycle and use five clear literary devices. This needs to be edited using ratiocination by a peer and the final copy hand written in blue/black ink or typed.
Trail Ride Rules Search on your device for historical trail drive “rules. ” Using those as an example, write a list of your own to fit your Cattle Company.
Cattle Company Brochure Create a trifold, color brochure that explains and/or shows the motto and brand of your Cattle Company, Dangers and Plans Cowboys will face on the Trail Drive, Jobs, Employees and Pay, and a Time Line of the Trail. Adding a copy of your Trail Map would be a plus.
