Dictatorship �Dictatorship – � Leader has absolute power and authority � One person in charge

Forms of Dictatorships: �Autocracy: � – Single person holds unlimited power, i. e North Korea �Oligarchy: � Power held by a small self appointed elite group, i. e. China.

Characteristics of a Dictatorship: � Authoritarian: � – Those in power hold absolute and unchallengeable authority over the people � Totalitarian: Complete power over nearly every aspect of human affairs. � - �
