Treatment 1) Antipyretic. 2) Antibiotic to overcome secondary infection. 3) Local dressing of oral lesions and mouth washing with suitable antiseptic as potassium permanganate 1/1000 , boric acid 1 -2% and sodium bicarbonate 5%. 4) Use of cod liver oil to enhance the resistance of the oral mucosa. 5) Foot lesions are washed with 5% copper sulfate with local application of antibiotic ointment then covered by medical tar. 6) Soft food or fluid therapy 7) Antiviral to decrease the course of the disease.
