Recording Your Own Sound You should try and position your microphone / recorder about 1 foot away from the subject Think outside the box, sometimes you can create sounds using different objects
• Your microphone should usually be pointing at the source of the sound • Try to record your sounds with little to no background noise, as any processing done to these clips will effect background noise too.
