Wisconsin’s statewide energy efficiency and renewable resource program since 2001. $100 million budget to serve all customer classes Focus on Energy Policy Background Current statutory framework Set by 2005 Wisconsin Act 141 Includes “Quadrennial Planning Process” for Commission to review program policies and goals Open comments collected from many stakeholders, including Industrial Consumer Group “Quad Planning III” decisions made in May for 2019 -2022 Maintain existing policies for setting program priorities and measuring costeffectiveness Maintain renewable funding and refine renewable programs Design new rural programs that build upon experience with rural programs in 2017 -18

Office of Energy Innovation= Focus + State Energy Programs (SEP) SEP-funded Energy Innovation Grant Program RFP currently out ; $5 million in funding available (more in future rounds) Planning and implementation grants both available Current round open to manufacturers as well as school districts and local governments and tribes Proposals due June 29 Award decisions will be informed by multiple factors, including costeffectiveness of projects, local impacts, level of innovation, resiliency benefits FAQ on website- further questions can be submitted for inclusion until June 22 at OEI@wisconsin. gov
