What was the key feedback you got from your focus group? • Black and red for background and text • Eye catching photos • Music, food • Simple but eye catching style. • Big photos. • Good photos. • A little bit of text to describe what’s going on.

How has the findings from your focus group influenced your idea for your double page spread and front cover? Content: music, food, sports, technology. These will be the storys we will be covering in the magazine as this is what most students are interested nowadays so it means that most students will want to pick up the magazine and read it when they want to know more about what is going on in the world. When talking about music we will talk about hip hop music and what is popular in the month. With food we will talk about the different types of food from different restaurant. Sports we will talk about the latest transfer news in football and what is going on in the boxing world. Techology we will talk about the latest equipment that is coming out so that students can know whether to get it or not. Colour: Black background with red text so that it all blends well together and the text stands out on the background. They want the colours to be these as both artists use red and black in their songs and the two colours blend together well.

How has the findings from your focus group influenced your idea for your double page spread and front cover? Photos: Big pictures with a lot of them around the article about the story that is being written. This will help to the reader to understand who or what the article is on about if they are not sure on what is on about as some people might not be interested in certain articles. We will have pictures of the sports teams, players and boxers, the food and the restaurants, music the picture of the album cover and the picture of the latest equipment that is coming out for technology. Style and design: A simple but eye catching style will be used for the article so that it grabs the readers attention but its isn’t complicated for the reader to understand. This will help people to be able to identify where the writing starts from and finishes and to identify the pictures and the layout of the article. The style needs to be simple so that the reader can easily understand the layout of the articles in the magazine. The reader will read the first article and understand where the paragraphs and where the pictures should be layed out in the magazine. All the articles should have the same layout to make it simple for the reader so that they aren't getting confused by the layout.
