Firmware – Function § The firmware controls the activities of the TRIO. § The firmware is uploaded to the TRIO controller at PGDT. § It can not be updated in the field.

Firmware - Handling § Updates of the firmware can only be done by exchanging the TRIO controller § A TRIO controller electronics should only be exchange if § The issue on the machine can not be resolved or § Instructed by GTS

Service Tool – Overview Functions § The Service Tool shall support to improve the efficiency of a technical service § The actual Service Tool is only to be used on the swingo 2500/3500 V 2 § The Service Tool connects the machine with the computer and enables following actions: § Set/change machine parameter § Read out data § Read out error codes

Service Tool Installation § The cables have to be available (Ord. No. 4123194) § If an old Service Tool version is installed on the computer it has to be deinstalled first § If no serial port (RS 232) is available you need to adjust the port § From the software package the setup file has to be executed to install the Service Tool § Afterwards the computer can be connected to the machine and the Service Tool can be used

Service Tool - Handling § GTS make Service Tool updates available through § Service Tool package § Update of e-spares/documents/software § New Service Tool should be distributed to technicians § Old Service Tools have to be removed from computers of technicians
