First day On the first day we arrived

First day: On the first day, we arrived at Lisbon airport at 4: 45 am and we waited five minutes for our teachers. After that we flew to Rome’s airport. A car driver said to us : “I can leave you at Praça de Espanha” and our teacher accepted. We went to the Coliseum, the Constantine’s Arch and to the Fontanna di Trevi. Here, everyone threw a coin, including our teachers. We went back to Rome’s airport to take our last plane to Brindisi. When we went to collect our bags, we realized that Ariana’s bag didn´t come! After that, we went to meet our Italian families. Afterwards, we went to their house in Nardò. My friend’s name is Grabriele Ingusci. When I arrived to Grabiele’s house, I went to sleep, because I was very tired.

Second day: I woke up at 7: 15 am. I took breakfast and afterwards we went to school. When the bell rang, we went to the classroom. Now, I’m going to say how they behaved (first, good things): they stood up when the teacher entered the classroom. And now, not so very good things: they talked when the teacher was talking, so the teacher had to speak very loud. After the classes, we went to the Town Hall to meet the mayor ! We went back to school, and our Italian friends played the Portuguese National anthem to us (It was fantastic!). At 1: 30 pm, we went home and after that we went to Marta’s house (Sofia was there) to play PS 2! In the afternoon we went to school again, to visit the “Acquaviva” castle ; after that we went home to sleep.

Third day : Saturday: is a different day; not the same routines ; they have classes in the morning, and we haven’t. The best part of the day was the trip to Santa Maria di Leuca(in the morning). Another trip came in the afternoon, but this time to Lecce , to shop. It was very cool.

Fourth day: Sunday, a different day, and another trip- south and east of Nardò. This time it was fantastic! After the trip, we went home. I went out with Gabriele ‘s friends. We had a walk and, finally, dinner at Gabriele’s home. It was fantastic, because we ate pizza, real pizza!

Fifth day: It was our last day in Italy, because on Tuesday we came to Portugal. On the last day, we woke up at 6: 45 and we went to school. After school, we went to Gabriele’s home to have lunch. It was spaghetti à la pomodoro. We went to sleep at 11: 00 pm, because I had to be at school at 7: 15 the next morning to take our plane back to Portugal. Miguel Grazina
